Job Description

Concentrix is currently searching for a Senior Manager of Philippines Tax Operations and Planning to assist the Head of Tax on several key areas for our company. This position will be responsible for Concentrix’ Philippines (i) tax research and strategies, (ii) income tax provisions & return preparation/ review/ and filing; (ii) VAT compliance and planning, (iv) Transfer Pricing analysis and study, (v) strategic application and maintenance of tax holidays such as Philippines Economic Zone authority, Regional Operating Headquarter.
•         Philippines Tax Strategies and Planning on domestic and international transactions. Working with Head of APAC and Headquarter Tax Team.
•         Key role in preparing and/or reviewing the calculation of the Philippines quarter-end and year-end tax provisions. Discussions and walkthrough with SOX team and tax auditors
•         Analysis and reconciliation of deferred tax assets and liabilities. Prepares tax disclosures for financial statement purposes.
•         Prepare/ Coordinate/ Review the quarterly and yearend Philippines tax provisions, effective tax rate calculations.
•         Responsible for all corporate income tax, value added tax compliance for Concentrix Philippines’s subsidiaries and branches, working with local Controllers and tax preparers.
•         Ability to identify and research on technical tax matters, knowledgeable of the income tax accounting rules (Philippines GAAP v. US GAAP), and ability to collaboratively work towards a solution.
•         Assist Headquarter Tax in preparation and review of US based international compliance 5471 for Philippines
•         Review quarter and yearend Philippines Transfer Pricing calculations, preparations of BEPS reports etc.
•         Complete quarterly and annual transfer pricing analyses as required for the tax provision.
•         Responsible for tax audit risk assessment and resolutions
•         Manages and ensures company’s optimum availment of tax incentives with Philippines PEZA.
•         Oversees compliance with PEZA regulations related to tax incentives and extensions of such as required
•         Oversees compliance with Business Permits and/or local government unit permits.  

•         Manages tax audits, if any.
•         Must be able to work well under time constraints and deadlines.

Job Requirements

•         Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA is required; Master in Tax is a plus
•         In-depth knowledge minimum 6 years of working experiences in tax provisions and compliance
•         Experience in PEZA, SEC, BOI and Local Government Unit Compliance
•         Minimum 8 years of corporate tax experience in public accounting and/ or multinational corporate tax department
•         Sound technical knowledge and practical experience dealing with foreign and U.S. international tax issues for multinational corporations
•         Involvement in preparation of tax provisions for foreign entities under Philippines and US GAAP
•         Strong accounting and analytical skills with ability to research tax law and apply relevant tax law to specific fact patterns
•         Possess strong organization skills, multitasking skills, and attention to details
•         Excellent communication and writing skills in English
•         Ability to work effectively with other team members in Tax/ Finance department and can also work independently
•         Proficiency with Excel, SAGE financial reporting system, international tax research (Checkpoint etc.) is a plus.
